Project Description

The first digital skills program launched for Persons’ with Disabilities (PWDs) in line with the equitable digital inclusion objective of KPITB that has been concluded successfully.The initiative provides (Persons With Disabilities) (PWDs) from the province to undergo through a two-month long robust and tailored curriculum, to learn in demand skills based on market needs.

The Skills imparted to PWDs includes

  • Graphics Design, Web Development,
  • Digital Marketing, and
  • Screen Reading Software

Objectives

  1. Create awareness of all the impactful projects spearheaded by the Pakistani diaspora
  2.  Allow potential donors and volunteers to easily discover these organizations and support them
  3.  Maintain a database of projects to analyze the work currently undertaken by the diaspora and share valuable data insights (number of school seats/hospital beds built by area, number of health care workers employed, number of STEM jobs created, etc.)
  4.  Connect people who have already worked on similar projects to get guidance and/or advice (e.g. opening a school or a clinic in remote areas, hiring staff, official documents requirement, etc.)
  5.  Conduct talks and seminars between key stakeholders in Pakistan and the Pakistani diaspora to provide insights into what are the crucial areas to focus on in the near, medium, and long term to uplift Pakistan
  6. Khuddar Pakistan is also zakat eligible, providing an avenue for those who wish to fulfill their religious obligation of zakat to contribute to projects that are aligned with our mission of creating a self-sufficient Pakistan.
